Leírás: Program of the Amfissa Cinema Club, a branch of the Greek Film Archive. The front cover bears the title of the film to be screened: "THE THIEVE OF PEACHES " by Vulo Radev, and lists other contributors. The back cover bears a critical note by Aglaia Mitropoulou, republished from the newspaper “Acropolis”. The note begins with the comment that this film proves that the “Bulgarian is now on a European level”. It goes on to provide brief information on the career of the director, who started out as cameraman of the film "TOBACCO". In his first own film, Vulo Radev expresses his anguish for modern man (along the lines of Godart and Antonioni) through the love story between the Serbian Officer Ivo, a prisoner of war at the concentration camp of the Bulgarians, and Lisa, the wife of the city’s commander – a great love story amidst the inhuman hatred of war. The note praises the excellent artistic knowledge; sensitivity in conception and structure of the subject matter; as well as excellent guiding of actors.
